For our international client in the energy sector we are looking for a treasury and credit Manager.


As Treasury & Credit Manager you will assess the credit risk on commercial prospects by analysing and controlling in a very accurate way the creditworthiness of customers and manage the collections.

Within the Treasury area you will be responsible for the organisation of the Accounts Payable cycle as well as factoring activities, cash management and forecasting. Both for Treasury and Credit you will manage the accounting aspects with the support of accounting specialists.

The Treasury & Credit Manager will report to the Branch Finance Manager. He/she will manage a dunning and collection assistant dedicated to the execution of the operations.

Functieomschrijving
  • Manage the daily divisional cash position, as well as the cash planning related to forecast/budget
  • Analyse divisional cash position, with specific focus to working capital impacts
  • Undertake risk assessment analysis in order to assign credit lines to commercial customers
  • Analyse financial statements, management accounts and cash flow statements with the aim of assessing the credit worthiness of client companies
  • Maintain and analyse aged bad-debt reports, undertaking necessary actions when needed
  • Manage accounts receivable factoring for working capital and risk management
  • Manage the Accounts Payable cycle
  • Dedicated Treasury and Credit Reporting to local and Head Office management
  • Advise and recommend changes to policies and procedures
  • Liaise with all internal stakeholders
  • Motivational and hand-on leadership of the dunning and collation assistant


Functie-eisen
  • You have a master’s degree in accounting, finance or economics
  • You have 5 years’ experience in a similar position
  • You have a strong combination of analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills
  • You have a very good knowledge of Dutch, French and English
  • You are a team player and you have a pro-active and hands-on approach
  • You are flexible and stress resistant
  • Knowledge of SAP Financial Modules is an advantage
